College Board Account Access and Score Reporting

Students need to be able to log into their College Board account.

Students must know their College Board username and password and have a safe place to keep this information, so they can retrieve it closer to exam day. It’s important that your personal information is accurate in your College Board account. You must use your legal name, correct date of birth, etc. Inaccurate information could jeopardize your ability to test or access your scores.

If any students need to correct information in their account, they should contact AP Services for Students 888-225-5427, apstudents@info.collegeboard.org as soon as possible. College Board will send students important email reminders before exam day to the email address associated with their College Board account.

Check your email frequently, particularly in the weeks before their exam. If students aren’t receiving email updates from the AP Program, they should:

1. Sign in to My AP (myap.collegeboard.org)

2. Confirm their email address: Click their profile in the top right corner. Go to Account Settings and confirm that their email address is the one they want to use for 2025 AP Exam reminders. If they need to change their email address, they should click Update.

3. In Subscriptions, they should confirm they’ve checked the box to receive updates from College Board.

4. Finally, they should create a new contact with the email address collegeboard@e.collegeboard.org in their address book or safe sender list.

Score Reporting to Colleges

SENIORS: To add your free score report recipient, you will need to sign in to MyAP (myap.collegeboard.org) and go to My AP profile. Click the Score Send tab. Students will indicate the college, university, or scholarship program they want to receive their free score. For 2025, this may be reported only through My AP.

Please review the following:

• Check MY AP to confirm your name, scheduled exams, dates and times.  If there is an issue, notify your AP coordinator immediately.
• Please review the College Board  AP Exams Terms and Conditions page.  These are the Terms and Conditions you are required to follow in order to take your AP exam. 
• As per College Board guidelines you must agree to go to AP Exam Policies and Guidelines  prior to test day and review any updates from College Board.
• Please review AP What to Bring on Exam Day prior to test day.
• Please review the AP Calculator policy prior to test day.

Other Information: 

• No Shows - If you are a no show for your AP exam, there is no refund. You must cancel your exam before 5/4/25 for a partial refund. Fill out the cancellation form and return it to your AP Coordinator in the main office. AP Exam Cancel Form
• Location of Exams - Most exams will take place in the upper gym. Watch your school/College Board email for important information. 
• Check in 30 minutes prior to exam time at the Gym Building courtyard entrance (7:30 AM for 8 am exams and 11:30 AM for noon exams).
• Bring a photo ID for check in and your own #2 pencils and pen, and school Chromebook (for exams with digital administration).
• Afternoon exams will most likely not be released in time for bus transportation.  Students will need to secure their own ride to and from school and make all other arrangements with coaches, bosses, etc. prior to the start of the exam, as you will not be allowed to access your phone during the exam. 
• If you are testing both in the afternoon or AM and PM on the same day, bring your lunch.

Dear Advanced Placement Test Takers and Parents/Guardians,

Advanced Placement exam administration will take approximately four hours per exam. Students may not be dismissed until an Advanced Placement exam has officially ended; do not ask to leave early, even if everyone else has also completed the exam. If you play a sport or have a job, etc., it is your responsibility to inform your coach/employer/etc., of your Advanced Placement exam schedule, and make arrangements accordingly.

Get a good night's rest before your exam, and eat a  nutritious breakfast. You are allowed to bring a small snack and water for your ten minute break (not at your desk). It is advisable to dress in layers, in case the room temperature is below your comfort level.

You should bring the following items to the exam room:

• Several sharpened number two pencils with erasers for all multiple choice answer sheets (mechanical pencils are not allowed).
• Several pens with black or dark blue ink for completing areas on the exam booklet covers and for free response questions in most exams.
• Up to two calculators, but only for authorized exams. Clarify with your instructor in advance and visit www.collegeboard.org/ap/calculators to verify whether a calculator is approved and what capabilities are authorized.  For example, four function with square root?  Scientific? Graphic?
• Some exams will be digital. Students will need to bring a fully charged school Chromebook to the exam.

You should not bring the following to the exam room:

• Cell phones, PDAs, MP3 players, email/messaging devices, and any other electronic or communication devices including smart watches, etc.
• Books, compasses, colored pencils, correction fluid, erasers, dictionaries, highlighters, or notes.
• Rulers and straight edges, except for Advanced Placement Physics exam.
• Pencil sharpeners, which is why bringing several sharpened pencils is strongly advised.
• Scratch paper. Notes can be made on portions of the exam booklets.
• computers or calculators, except as noted above.
• Watches that beep or have an alarm. A clock will be visible to all testers.
• Portable listening or recording devices, even with headphones, or photographic equipment.
• Clothing with subject related information.

You are required to abide by the policies of both the College Board and the Lake Oswego School District during the exam period. Any misconduct will be reported and could jeopardize your Advanced Placement exam grade.

AP Exam Cancel Form

2025 LHS AP Exam Cancellation Information

● November 8, 2024, 3:00 pm: Deadline for students to cancel and receive a full refund. The LHS AP Cancelation Request form at the bottom (or linked above) must be completed and submitted to the AP Coordinator. Requests must also be submitted through Total Registration in order to process the partial credit if applicable.

● Cancellations after the November 8, 2024, 3:00 pm deadline incur a $43 cancelation fee from College Board. A signed LHS AP Cancellation Request form must be dropped off to the AP Coordinator in the Lakeridge Main Office to receive this partial refund. Email cancellation requests must include the signed form.

● Cancellations made after May 4, 2025 will receive no refund except in the case of severe illness or family tragedy. A hardcopy original of a medical/doctor’s note must be submitted to the Coordinator by 3:00 pm Friday, May 16, 2025, along with the AP Exam Cancellation Request Form.

● Depending on the reason, students may be authorized to reschedule their exam to the Alternate Week of Testing: May 19-23. Please see the AP Coordinator for details.

● Students should keep in mind that no college will see their scores unless they specifically order College Board to send them. See below for the LHS AP Exam Cancellation Request Form

Students who have changed their minds about taking the AP exam and who have their parents’ or guardians’ approval to cancel the exam need to complete the information below if payment has already been submitted.

Please return to the AP Coordinator by:

● 3:00 pm, November 8, 2024 to receive a full refund.

● 3:00 pm, May 4, 2025 to receive a partial refund.

● In the case of severe illness or family tragedy, please refer to the instructions above.

● All other cancellations/no-shows receive no refund.
