National Honor Society

National Honor Society embraces four key values: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. The NHS Application process is built around these four key values. In addition to a student’s GPA, applicants to the Lakeridge High School Chapter of the National Honor are considered holistically with respect to the three remaining key values of the National Honor Society. The successful application will demonstrate evidence of strength in each of the areas. Applications are sent to eligible candidates (sophomores and juniors with a 3.5 or higher weighted GPA) soon after first semester grades are finalized. Accepted members commit to 20 hours of community service each school year.
